Hector and Carlos welcomed us aboard early and you could tell they were all about getting out early. A short while after we passed all other boats, you could tell we were headed to special waters with a special boat (I had picked “Cabo Magic” after doing a very brief amount of research and seeing that their boat placed in the Top Ten at the annual Bisbee’s tournament). Literally within 5 minutes (I kid you not….5 minutes) of putting our lines into the water, we had a striped marlin AND a sailfish ‘double-header’ on our lines. We completed the double header and truly thought our day was done, but thereafter we caught not 1, not 2 but four more striped marlin that day. FIVE striped marlin and a sailfish is a trophy day by anyone’s count and we could not believe how lucky we were – every single person caught a big game fish. The sun was hot, the ocean choppy, the burritos were delicious, the beer was cold and Hector and Carlos delivered up one AMAZING fishing trip. I can’t say this was a trip of a lifetime because I expect just as much next time I fish with them, as I’m definitely coming back for more. THANK YOU CABO MAGIC!! Thanks again for a great fishing trip, Beth is still really excited about her Sailfish she caught on our trip with captain mike, and i am also happy with the Durrado we caught. My daughter and Alisha and brother-in law Steve Allard Thanks also for the referral to Cabo Cantina, they cooked up one awesome meal with the fish.

Kevin and I had a great experience fishing aboard “Cabo Magic” with Capt Hector and ChaCha. That morning as we headed out I saw the lures being prepared for us and Kevin said to me “These guys are all business” Within the next hour we landed a 180lb Striped Marlin. Soon after the Capt put us on Dorado one after the other. The crew worked well together and next thing I know we reel in Two Sailifish back to back. I reeled in another Dorado and Kevin gets one more Sailfish. To finish off a perfect day I get a big bull Dorado. We’ll never forget fishing with Capt Hector and ChaCha. They were courteous, and made the effort to show us the best time possible. “Cabo Magic” had the best display of flags on the outriggers that day. Hope you enjoy the pictures.
